Interfacing ICOM Headset to Yaesu Transceiver

I am using a Heil Pro Set 7 IC on my IC-9700 and IC-706 MK2G transceivers for SSB operation. Recently I aquired a Yaesu Ft-818 and an Arrow II portable yagi antenna for LEO operations. As no need for a new headset I built an adapter to connect the Heil Pro Set with ICOM electrec microphone capsule to the Yaesu transceiver. As ICOM normally uses only one wire to connect the mic (caryying AF and bias voltage) whereas Yaesu uses separate there was the need to built an adapter.

The wiring is more or less simple. An example can be found on [1]. The bias voltage is connected to the mic using a 4k7 resistor. The audio frequency is coupled with a 470n capacitor. My spare parts box only had 5k1 and 100nF/1u which also works fine. Here is a pic of the quick and dirty solution.
